Robot automates product issue
A machine for round-the-clock dispensing of PPE and other safety equipment is available from Draeger Safety UK.
Called the Rental Robot, the device automates the issue and return of equipment such as masks, portable gas detectors and consumables.
Users log on via a touch screen, which displays the selection of products that individual may access. The product is selected on screen and removed from its compartment. Equipment return is also straightforward; using the same process, the product is replaced in the compartment.
