Honda UK Manufacturing selects Aras and Minerva for new model project

Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM) has selected Aras Innovator PLM (product lifecycle management) software, for its new model, and Minerva as the implementation partner for the project.

Minerva says that its so-called discovery workshop provided HUM with the confidence that Aras Innovator could deliver the scope of the pilot required and allowed all parties to understand the complexities of the HUM new model process requirements.

HUM – the fully integrated car manufacturing facility in Swindon – produces the complete vehicle' engine casting, machining and assembly, BIW pressing, welding and painting, final assembly and dynamic test.

The current model line-up includes Honda's Jazz, CR-V and the new Civic, developed for the European market alone.
