Small parts storage solution

A new small parts storage system with a load capacity of 150kg has been launched by Bito Storage System.

The Compact Storage Module has drawers that pull out fully to give easy access to parts at the back.

The unit is 1550mm tall, 1206mm deep and 900mm wide, which allows three units to fit into a typical 2.7m wide bay of racking. The standard unit is fitted with five drawers and an anti-tilt device that only allows one drawer to be extended at a time.

Edward Hutchison, Bito's MD, said: "Manufacturing trends such as JIT and kanban... means the demand for innovative small parts storage solutions is on the rise. By combining the most space efficient design with complete access to products, our Compact Storage Module will be the ideal solution for many storage operations."
