Brief case study from Sora Consulting showing how sustainable improvements in OEE were achieved at Gestamp Tallent Automotive by focusing on the reliability of equipment. Sora worked very closely with the team to introduce their approach to a focus on root cause within the maintenance and engineering departments. Tallent have now created their TAMS (Tallent Aycliffe Maintenance Strategy) based heavily on the tools and techniques that were introduced. The results have been fantastic and demonstrate that having a key focus on equipment reliability will massively help any lean program.
