GSH improves reporting and business support with Infor

Energy management technology specialist GSH has implemented Infor EPM (enterprise performance management) software to improve data accuracy and business reporting, and to improve contract and bid support.

David Quinnell, GSH UK financial controller, says that Infor was selected primarily because of its ease of integration with existing systems and its off-the-shelf functionality.

"Our decision to work with Infor EPM is part of our ongoing strategy of investing in market leading systems to ensure that our business remains highly efficient," he states.

Quinnell explains that the EPM has software has brought flexibility to data analysis, with managers able to change perspectives on demand, and generate better focused reports – leading to improved business performance overviews and faster decision making.

By reducing the amount of time spent on reporting, the GSH finance team, in particular, also has more capacity to focus on high-value activities, such as contract support, cost control and bid support, he says.

Reports generated in the UK can also be used across Europe and the US, bringing greater consistency of communication to the organisation, he adds.
