A new imaging-based AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) solution that provides comprehensive, multiple asset traceability is now available.
ImageID has launched Visidot. Used in warehousing, food and automotive markets, it can accurately capture components and packages in a matter of seconds, even while in motion. It can interface to back-end ERP systems in real-time, and includes web-based management and reporting. All of these make the system a truly reliable and cost-effective SCT (Supply Chain Traceability) solution.
Benefits include high Performance with 100% accurate, image-based data capture for zero-error tracking. A large field-of-view enables detection of products regardless of their location and orientation, and records are kept from all visual reporting.
ImageID says that the system is cost effective, reducing manual labour costs and preventing human errors.
It supports low-cost, industry-standard barcode (1D) or Data Matrix (2D) labels, as well as ImageID’s proprietary ColorCode tags.
