For every manufacturer, visiting a best practice site, often with your teams as well as your management group, can be immensely rewarding. Seeing the improvement in place, how the factory flows, and talking to the people who work there to understand their experiences is extremely valuable.
Now, Works Management, in conjunction with Cranfield School of Management and Productivity Europe is launching the Best Factory visit programme. Winning sites will open their doors to reveal just what the judges saw, and how they have managed to continue to improve or change since last year’s awards.
