A new handbook advises those who, on a Friday are told “on Monday, you’ll be a team leader.” They have 48 hours to work out how it is done, over their very own magic weekend.
George Edwards has produced this ‘little book’, which is aimed at giving new team leaders a fighting chance of success. We’ve all been there at some point, given the responsibility to manage people for the first time, and the book covers six rules.
Also included are tips on delegating work, on giving feedback and managing your time. All crucial success points for any good team leader. But it recognises that becoming a team leader can be a big step, and speaks in a very simple language the key steps that will help any new team leader make a success of the Monday following the Magic Weekend.
It is published by George Edwards – Knowledge Management and is available for £3.25, or multiple copies at improved rates. To order go online or call 01423 883557.
