Corus lines up RFID to solve coke problems 01/07/2005
 
RFID is reducing accidents and improving the reliability of continuous coke oven operations for the blast furnaces at Corus Redcar. An RFID positioning system, provided by DataScan Systems, locates, monitors and can control locomotives that collect coke from the ovens, to prevent collisions in what can be hazardous conditions
