Fairline Boats, which manufactures luxury power boats to order at three sites around Oundle and Corby in Northamptonshire, is achieving its vision of running with near zero inventory and much improved line-side material availability – assisted by a supplier portal system on top of its ERP. Crucially, it’s also seeing that system freeing up staff for continuous improvement and enabling much more efficient use of management time
