Learn from the UK’s best manufacturers 19/11/2008

Bookings are now being taken for the Lean manufacturing learning event of the year, and its organisers are warning: “Beware of imitations”.

Commenting on the opening day for booking the two-day Best Factory Conference, Works Management magazine editorial director Ken Hurst said: “There is only one Best Factory Awards scheme; it’s run by Cranfield School of Management – manufacturing’s leading business school – in partnership with Works Management magazine – manufacturing’s leading media.

“Each year there is only one set of Best Factory Award winners – less than a third of those who submit themselves to trial by data, benchmarking against the best in their sector, interrogation and full-on factory inspection, get to mount the victor’s rostrum.
And there’s only one place you can go to learn from them: The Best Factory Conference.”

The conference takes place on 3-4 March 2009 at the Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club, Meriden, Warwickshire. To secure the reduced early booking rate, download the application form now or call Jackie Hall at Cranfield School of Management on 01234 754505.
