Hamworthy order book at £303m

Hamworthy, the AIM-listed designer and manufacturer of marine and offshore fluid handling systems Hamworthy announced today (30 September) that its order book at 31 August 2008 stood at £303 million for delivery over the next three years.
In a trading update, the company said that it had made further progress in delivering its strategy of expanding its position in key long-term growth markets and improving margins through operational excellence.
First half performance was anticipated to be relatively strong due to the timing of certain contract deliveries and expenditures together with particularly robust demand in aftersales.
