Seven days to MITcon 2008 manufacturing business IT conference and awards 03/06/2008

manufacturing business systems There are just seven days left to book a place at this year’s MITcon one-day manufacturing IT and business conference and awards.

Taking place at the National Space Centre, Leicester on 11 June 2008, the MITcon 2008 conference is all about how to gain serious competitive advantage through innovative use of IT, all the way from manufacturing operations to your supply chain.

Organised by Manufacturing Computer Solutions at this spectacular venue, there is a powerful line-up of speakers from manufacturers that have achieved hard-won business benefits by implementing IT.

On this one occasion, they promise to tell delegates exactly how they did it, how they’re sustaining it – and how they plan to continue succeeding in the future with IT.

The agenda kicks off with a keynote IT strategy piece from distinguished IT and business analyst Mark Blowers, of Butler Group. Following him are presentations from past Best Manufacturing IT Award winners’ Silvergate Plastics, Filtrona Protection and Finishing Products, Seiki Systems and Magal Engineering.

Delegates will also be the first to network with this year’s newly anointed MITcon manufacturing IT Award winners too, as the event also plays host to the MITcon Awards 2008 ceremony. Presentations will be made during lunch, celebrating UK manufacturing’s top IT strategies and implementations.

Additionally, organiser Manufacturing Computer solutions is promising attendees free services from IT and business consultants on hand from the vendor and analyst community on the day – and willing and able to discuss issues and solutions that could make the difference.

More details on the agenda can be found at http://www.mitcon.co.uk/agenda.cfm

Booking is available now online at www.mitcon.co.uk or by calling Kerry Wilkins on 01322 221144 or emailing her at kwilkins@findlay.co.uk.

Delegates booking in the next week and wanting to bring colleagues are being offered one free place for every full paying attendee.
