Plant Engineer launches suppliers guide 01/04/2008

operations engineer plant The Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) has launched its first Plant Engineer Yearbook – a definitive guide to suppliers of plant and equipment, specifically for operations engineers and engineering managers.

Published by the IPlantE professional sector of the SOE, the new yearbook covers everything from electromechanical equipment to hydraulic systems, instrumentation, test and measurement systems, sensors, automation, controls, and industrial supplies – as well as training and consultancy services.

All equipment for installations ranging from static and rotating plant to mobile plant, power generation and distribution, system design, production and maintenance and repair, is detailed, and the SOE says it’s the most comprehensive listing of suppliers and resources available.

It’s also the most wide ranging, covering industry sectors from oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, to general manufacturing, the utilities, transportation, construction, commercial buildings and the armed forces.

Copies are available from the SOE, and the service is also being provided free online, with full search and select functionality.
