Supply chain doctor comes to Logistics Link and Softworld 22/01/2008
 
supply chain business software 3M’s supply chain specialists are offering free supply chain health-checks to visitors at Logistics Link South and the Softworld exhibitions.

Logistics Link South 2008 is from 5—6 February at Sandown Park, Surrey; and Softworld Supply Chain & Logistics 2008 is from 12—13 March at the Pavilion, NEC Birmingham.

3M’s Supply Chain Solutions division is the operating arm of HighJump Software, and professional services consultant Dr David Sinfield is one of the team who will be offering his 23 years’ experience in supply chain management consultancy.

“More than two decades of communication and consultation has allowed me to examine the supply chains of many different companies and learn some lessons of good and bad practice across various market sectors including retail, manufacturing and aerospace,” comments Sinfield.

“My current responsibility within 3M is to listen to customers, understand their specific warehouse management systems needs and deliver a system that helps them to meet their overarching supply chain objectives. At the Logistics Link South and Softworld shows I’ll be extending this specialist service to a wider audience.”
