Customers of Wyko, an ERIKS Company were given unprecedented access to a wide range of technical know-how and advice at a special event in Carlisle last month.
The inaugural ‘Know-How Makes a Difference Day’, hosted by Pirelli Tyres in Carlisle, was a resounding success and saw over 500 customers visit over the course of the day.
The day-long event took place in a large marquee with 35 of Wyko’s key suppliers providing stands to construct a mini-exhibition. Amongst the products on display were bearings, seals and lubes, drives and motors, hydraulics and pneumatics, tolerance rings, and industrial hose. The electromechanical services and electronic services sides of the company were also on show, giving visitors a glimpse of the extent of Wyko’s know-how.
Alongside the exhibition, visitors were invited to attend a series of informative know-how seminars that ran throughout the day and covered a range of topical issues including: energy saving through quality maintenance; cubed law – pumps, fans and their drives; motor management and efficiency and reliability centred maintenance including root cause analysis.
