Powercell powers Doosan’s new 24 V electric forklifts

Powercell Industrial Battery Engineers are the exclusive supplier of batteries and chargers for Doosan’s new 24 V AC powered battery counterbalance forklift truck range.
With the launch of this new 1 to 1.6 tonne family, which is the latest addition to its Pro-5 range, Doosan are responding to changes in the market where smaller battery models have become more prevalent.
Doosan have a long established relationship with Powercell – the supplier of battery and charger packages, based near Stansted Airport in Essex – with many of Doosan’s electric truck customers selecting Powercell battery packages.
Darren White, UK general sales manager at Doosan, says: “It’s interesting to see how many people are choosing the Powercell brand, which is a respected name in the battery sector. Reliability is an important part of this and we do not hear of any problems with Powercell, so Doosan and Powercell clearly complement each other. The 24 V market is a new sector for Doosan so these were important considerations in our decision to make Powercell a preferred partner,”
