Hyster launches a new big five

Hyster has announced the availability of five new big truck designs built for performance and dependability in tough applications. Three new heavy forklift truck series have been introduced spanning a range of 8 – 48 tonne lifting capacities and two new container handlers are now available.
The new big forklift trucks have been designed for outstanding performance and productivity in the toughest of environments. The new 8-16T, 16-18T and 36-48T ranges feature Hyster’s “Vista Cab” offering outstanding ergonomics, comfort, low noise levels, a choice of controls and all round visibility for the drivers.
Fresh modern styling, with an increased family resemblance to the other members of the “Big Trucks” range, introduces downward sloping hood-lines, low-profile rear counterweights and easy on-off access.
Clean running (EC Tier 3) Cummins engines provide the power output and dependability needed for such demanding applications and robust drive axles, advanced auto-shift transmission system and engine and transmission protection systems are fitted as standard.
The two new container handlers are also fitted with Hyster’s Vista Cab and many other features that enhance both performance and productivity.
Hyster’s 5 new ‘Big Trucks’ have been built to provide dependable performance in operation and reduce life-time service costs. The designs incorporate easy access to components for routine maintenance and repair, and all products are supported locally by Hyster’s distribution partners.
