Gore Workwear partner DeWalt’s new range offers solutions for durable clothing and footwear. Utilising the very latest technology from Gore, the protective collection is claimed to be one of the most comfortable, stylish and safest ranges available.
Through the use of Gore-Tex and Windstopper fabrics technologies, the range, encompassing outerwear and footwear, keeps the wearer dry and warm from the outside and comfortable from the inside.
No matter what the weather conditions, the Gore-Tex fabric provides durable, breathable protection from rain and wind. Its qualities are achieved by laminating fabric with a Gore-Tex membrane, which is very thin and lightweight, yet strong and durable.
The new range also benefits from the use of Windstopper fabric which provides total protection from the wind with extreme breathability and high durability. In high wind situations products without this protection will not provide a barrier to the ‘wind chill factor’ which can impact on productivity. If perspiration isn’t wicked away through the fabric this can lead to muscle cramp and discomfort from damp clothing.
At the heart of the new footwear products from DeWalt the Gore-Tex membrane prevents outside moisture from entering the footwear while simultaneously dissipating perspiration away from the foot and out of the shoe. The shoes literally breathe with the wearer’s feet, keeping them comfortably dry in all conditions.
