Vertical strapper range extended

Two further products have been added to the SMG range of vertical strapping machines from Strapex.
The SMG15 and SMG25 are arch-based machines, complementing the SMG10 which was launched last year and has already attracted a range of customers across varied industry sectors.
Both machines can cope with strap of between 9mm and 12mm in width, with simple touch panel control allowing the operator to set strap tension while operating functions are via light touch foot pedal. Each has been designed with the minimum possible moving parts for optimum reliability.
The SMG15 can accommodate loads of up to 650 x 500mm, with up to 65 cycles per minute achievable, while the larger SMG25 operates at a maximum of 60 cycles per minute, for loads up to 1250mm x 850mm. However, packages as small as 100mm across can be strapped by either machine. The maximum load weight for each machine is 35kg and both of them can achieve strap tensions of up to 450N.
Each machine offers adjustable working height with automatic strap threading and strap end ejection, while the strap dispenser is positioned for fast and easy coil change. Both products are robust yet lightweight and fully mobile.
All consumable and after-sales service are also available from Strapex, providing a complete ‘one-stop shop’ solution.
