Best Factory Award winners to be announced today 21/09/2007

Who is the Factory of the Year? Today, at the annual celebration of the Best of manufacturing, we’ll find out. All the shortlisted companies in the most prestigious awards and benchmarking programme in the UK will find out what awards they have won, including the coveted title of Factory of the Year.

The programme is run by Works Management in partnership with Cranfield School of Management. Since entering early in 2007, these businesses have been analysed by Cranfield School of Management, and then visited by the judging team for an in-depth review.

Today, over 200 shopfloor employees from the factories shortlisted are joining with another 300 to celebrate the winners at The London Hilton, Park Lane. This site will announce the winners at close of play today, and Works Management will publicise all the winners in the October issue.
